Summer is all around!

It is time to party, time to go to the beach and time to travel!

Travelling to Portugal especially to Lisbon, not known as a Summer destination, doesn't mean that you leave the sunscreen at home, because if you stay in the city you can still go to the beach. The closest one is only 30 minutes away by car, Costa da Caparica a coast bathed by the Atlantic Ocean , with several beaches most of them in its pure state.

If you prefer to avoid the bridge you can still go to Estoril and, in this case, you can go by train, the "sun" is 30 minutes away.

But Lisbon in the summer is not only about the Beach it is also about the Summer Festivals.

Optimus Alive, a festival of music and art that takes place on the riverfront of Algés has its debut this Wednesday with Coldplay. Next week it is time for the 17th Super Bock Super Rock, which takes place in the village of Meco-Sesimbra and the best part is that you can go to the beach and to the concert at the same place. The Strokes will close the festival on Saturday 16th.

As you can see Lisbon and the Summer do combine... Try it!
