Problably the most influential Portuguese historical novel of the nineteenth century, Eurico, The Priest, by Alexandre Herculano (1810-1877), inspired an ambitous new theater project, led by actress and theater director Cristina Carvalhal.

We ask ourselves what does InShadow- International Festical of Viideo, Performance and Technologies, state in this contemporary world, a world incomplete, lawless, depleted, changeable and immense, rendered to struggle which diversifies and persists individually, socially and culturally. They propose a program where the individual/ spectator is also the author of narrative that establish a dialogue with their era.

Modernity seen through the mark of seventy of the most famous names in the world of painting, in a exhibition which gathers nearly one hundred "still lifes" signed by artist such as Picasso, Braque, Dali, Cezanne, Renoir, Van Gogh, Monet, Manet, Léger, Duchamp, Magritte and Matisse. And also some of the exponents of Portuguese painting such as Amadeo, or Eduardo Viana Vieira da Silva.
