New Year's Eve in Lisbon
The countdown as started! 2012 is right at the door, it is time to remember the year that is ending and embrace the new one and the best way to do that is partying and party is what you will find in Lisbon.
The biggest and most attendent event is the one in Praça do Comécio, where a major concert will take place and this year's main attraction is probably the most popular rock band in Portugal, Xutos e Pontapés. The fireworks show at midnight is also a big atraction, not to be missed.
But, if you like to stay indoors there is an alternative, the Casino de Lisboa, which will host a party that includes live performances from The Gift and Voodoo Marmelade. Dj Rui Murka and Pan Sorbe will keep the party going throughout the night and will bring you in to the New Year 2012.
