Earth Day 2014

Yesterday, the world celebrated the Earth Day 2014. The date was created by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson, on April 22nd 1970. In 2009, the UN recognized the importance of this date and established this the

International Day of Mother Earth. The main reason was to remind everyone and create awareness of the importance of preserving the biodiversity of the planet, in addition to drawing attention to the problems of contamination and pollution.
