The National Museum of Ancient Art premieres “The Savoys” with pieces of artists from Turin in the XVIII century


The hundred pieces displayed in the National Museum of Ancient Art in Lisbon, from today will evoke the work of several Turin’s artists of the XVIII century, in the service of the House of Savoy, during the radical transformation of Turin, in Italy.


“The Savoys, Kings and Patrons (Turin, 1730-1750)” is the title of the new exhibition at the National Museum of Ancient Art, created by the Museo Civico d'Arte Antica-Palazzo Madama, of Turin, within a partnership between these two institutions, which premieres today and opens to the general public on Saturday.

The opening ceremony will take place today at 18:30.
