Festival ao Largo 2012

Festival ao Largo is back and this year under the motto “The World in Chiado”.

The extensive program includes 24 performances of music and dance that count with the participation of the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonietta de Lisboa, the chorus of the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos and of the soloists António Rosado and Pedro Jóia, as well as several international names.

The Oslo Baroque music group, Barrokksolistene is one of those who will be present at the festival with a concert about the 17th century tavern songs, which combines music and humor.

There is still room for participations from Romania, Macau and Spain.
