Belvederes in the Spring.

After weeks of melancholy, Spring time is finally here! We leave you with five tips to see the most beautiful views of Lisbon!

If you want to avoid the confusion of terraces in the first rays of Sun of this year’s Spring, chose five viewpoints in Lisbon so that you can enjoy the Sun and temperature without having to worry about long journeys or crowds. And in the neighborhood of each of them there are many details that will surely please you. There are quite a range of choices for all tastes: quiet, busy, discreet or flashy!

Belvedere Nossa Senhora do Monte
With plenty of shades and a Madonna which protects all couples, friends or lonesome visitors.
From here you can almost plan a route through the city. Castelo de São Jorge, Convento do Carmo, Rossio…

Belvedere from the Botto Machado Garden

The most famous fair of Lisbon happens right next door! The flea market takes place every Tuesday and
Saturday morning, close to the garden. Those are the busiest days, just in case you wanted to appear or just avoid confusion. At the end of the garden you will find a Café where Teas are served cold and heat is barred by the shade of the trees.

Belvedere Chão do Loureiro
Located very close to the downtown area, this viewpoint has a restaurant/bar with a terrace where comfort
seems to be taken too seriously. A space that also excels in simplicity but that, at the same time, is close to anything else that you could possibly want: wine bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, etc.

Belvedere Santo Estevão

Modest and simple but full of surprises and details around it. It has several steps, houses and alleys where you will easily lose yourself, and can eventually discover many other things. This Belvedere is located in Santa Apolónia, near the Church of Santo Estevão. There are many restaurants nearby, always with music and decorations which brings a different color to the place. The smell of grilled fish will, at least, tempt you!

Belvedere Monte Agudo

Located in Anjos, this place is pretty quiet and discreet, so much that one of the entries goes completely
unnoticed to does who aren’t paying attention. The view is panoramic and we say that is one of the best in Lisbon! There's a café terrace and benches to relax while dating or just chatting.
Just take your pick and enjoy it, preferably, without a single cloud in sight!
