One more reason to visit Lisbon

If more reasons are need it to visit Lisbon, here’s another one. Lisbon is climbing the ranking of “Quality of Living”.

According to a study by Mercer "Quality of Living 2015" on the cities with the best level of quality of life in the world, Lisbon shows up on the 41st place in the ranking. The Portuguese capital ascended two places, in comparison to last year, positioning itself just above cities like Chicago (43rd) and New York (44th).


Also according to this survey, Viena is the city with the best “Quality of Living” in the world, followed by Zurich, Auckland and Munich.

The consultant company Mercer is leading this study on quality of life on an annual basis, in order to help multinational companies and other employers to remunerate fairly and rigorously employees who are placed in international projects, in line with its policies and practices international mobility.
In what concerns Lisbon, the points where the city has the highest score are on items related to economic, social and cultural environment and availability of consumer goods.

On the other hand, the worst scores are the ones related to traffic jam, airport facilities and air pollution.

So, pack your bags and visit us and feel some of Lisbon’s “Quality of Living”.
